Music theatre
Scott Lawton's first conducting job after graduation from Oberlin was with the Ohio Light
Opera. For four
summers he learned his craft via the genre of music theater -- or more specifically, comic opera.
Some of the theaters where he has worked in the past years are pictured here: Theater an
der Wien and Raimund Theater in Vienna, Theater des Westens Berlin, the
Deutsches Theater Munich, the Capitol Theater Düsseldorf, the Saarland
State Theater and the Nicolaisaal in Potsdam.
